Santorini part 3

Next was Anna’s roadside stall where we tasted some of her local delicacies. We had cheese, Olives, sundried tomatos and other pickled vegetables.  When that was done out came a plate of sweets best described as really sweet jams….

Our Greek trips are really turning into culinary taste tests and sure enough out next stop was Akritiri Beach and The Dolphins Taverna…. Literally on beach we sat and ate some wonderful food including Souvlaki, fish, calamari, Greek salad and sagnaki cheese….

We lingered there until it was time to head back to Fira where this time we used the cable car to head back down. It was still alittle early and it was terribly hot and the little taverna right next to the tenders were calling our names, so we just had to stop and sit and had the most refreshing beer we’ve had since the last hot island.
