Day 1 Its Cruise Day , Its Cruise Day....

Everyone was up early this morning with the excitement of finally embarking on our Round Europe trip.

In the hallway the bags were mounting... OMG is this more than last time!!!... The Limo arrived at the arranged time and thank goodness that our Carly decided to drive down to the wharf so we loaded up her little car with stuff as well as ours.

Embarkation at White bay was seamless...  Check in.... as thought the preferred lines were longer than the regular lines but we must of waited 20 min at a stretch.  Kissed the girls goodbye and onto immigration... stamp stamp.... have a good trip!!

The time of reckoning had come.... the security scanners... so through we go with our 2 cartons of wine and our cruise cards at the ready to pay our corkage....   Over to that table we go..... the waiter looks at them ( probably thinking to himself... bloody hell I am not going to sit here and stamp all these )  tells us “ fine take it on but if you take it to the restaurant or lounge areas you will need to pay corkage”..... “ yes we sure will.... Promise” and off we walk with all our wine....

This year our cabin is on Deck 6 just behind the front lifts.... Inside ....  The room is wider than the rooms have had previously  which makes it feel much more comfortable... the only extras we seem to have the constant humming of the engines.... hmmm don’t tell them they will probably charge us extra.... after a while you don’t even notice it.... I guess if the engines break down this year we will be first to know!!

We had a beautiful sail out of Sydney, sun was shining and the wind was just a whisper, some really lovely views from wharf 5 looking back into the city...  and the seas are just so calm.

It was a real da ja vu moment when all 10 of us sat down to dinner that night, except for the waiters it was like we picked up exactly where we left off ....
